Fiona Jennings, BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Newry and Mourne.

Do you find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking conversations, struggling to switch off, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life? Perhaps you’re feeling stressed, anxious, emotionally drained, or finding it difficult to cope with the pressures of work, family, relationships, or major life changes.

If so, you’re not alone. Anxiety and stress can affect every aspect of life, leaving you feeling stuck, exhausted, and disconnected from the person you want to be. The good news is that with the right support, meaningful change is possible.

Hello, I’m Fiona, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with 23 of experience supporting adults, young people, and families across a range of mental health settings, including the NHS, Autism Service, CAMHS, education, and private practice.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly worried, stuck in cycles of overthinking, struggling with low confidence, or finding it difficult to switch off and relax, you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with are managing the pressures of everyday life while coping with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion.

Over the years, I have helped people overcome a wide range of difficulties, including Generalised Anxiety Disorder, panic attacks, social anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, depression, low self-esteem, phobias, and post-traumatic stress. My extensive clinical experience allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs, helping you understand what’s keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to move forward with confidence.

I have a particular passion for helping people understand and overcome anxiety in all its forms, and I also specialise in supporting women through midlife and menopause. I help clients navigate anxiety, emotional changes, loss of confidence, and the challenges that can accompany this important stage of life.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based CBT. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns of thinking and behaviour that may be maintaining your difficulties, while building strategies that help you feel calmer, more resilient, and more in control.

Whether you’re experiencing persistent anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, or simply want support to make positive changes, therapy can provide a safe space to gain clarity, build confidence, and improve your emotional wellbeing.

You don’t have to continue struggling on your own. With the right support, meaningful change is possible.

All of our therapists are accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), which ensures the highest standards of CBT practice, training and supervision.
